★Miss Jackson Feat. Lolo by Panic! At The Disco★

I can't say how excited I am to see these guys again in concert! So it's only necessary that I buy the new single. I was blown away when I watched the video. I didn't expect anything less from Panic! but I think I got more than I bargained for. I can't help but to admit I blushed a little at the madness of Brendan Urie.

I don't know exactly why the term/name "Miss Jackson" has been  used in songs but it does have a ring to it. The song itself is addicting. I find myself singing it at random. I won't be surprised if I go to school and start singing it in class when classes start back up.

The song is obviously about a prostitute obviously who just leaves her "victims" without leaving any trace to her.  However, in an interview, Brendan had stated that this had happened to him before. Sometime earlier in his life in fact, but he stated that if he hadn't let it out before and if he didn't then it would drive him crazy. The situation was quite a revelation to him. He said when he was younger he would mess around a lot, not caring how the girls felt until the fateful night when it had smacked him right in the face.  Below will be the link posted to the interview where he said it.

All things personal aside, the song is a great perspective of how someone's life can be dramatically changed. The portrayal of Miss Jackson, in my opinion, was bloody brilliant. For those who do not quite get why she's inhaling smoke, I believe it's actually peoples souls, or that they are losing some part of themselves and when Brendan cuts her head off, I see it as his way of letting go of it or coming to terms with what happened. Being married now, I completely understand that he needs to let it out.

Another part of the video I loved was the painting that had shown the scene or in a way predicted the future. Brendan's dancing, as I noticed a lot commented on, was him showing his insanity or his insanity consuming him to know where she went/is, which leads him to jump in the car and drive to the site where people gathered, who are also her victims.

All in all, this song is amazing, and I knew I was going to love it. Panic, has a way to make songs morbidly beautiful. Keep your eye out for their upcoming album "Too Weird To Live Too Rare To Die" and keep an eye out on their tour schedules because they are on the road
in the United States. I will be attending the Milwaukee show so please don't hesitate to say hello!
