★31 Day Blog Challenge★My Earliest Childhood Memory★Day 4★

To be honest, There's a lot I do and don't remember about my early childhood. So, I'll just tell you this one. Now mind you I was only 4 or 5 and I don't think that the people I lived with quite understood the dangers of dogs eating grapes. Anyways, here's the story.

It was some time after my brother and I were separated in foster care because my brother was fighting the other boys as a way to defend me because they were teasing me. I was sitting in the living room eating some grapes when their little yorkshire terrier came up and sat in front of me. Now I remember my foster mom telling me not to feed the dog a lot of grapes but I was 5, and I mean who can deny puppy dog eyes at 5, so I began giving him grapes.  Now, every once in a while they gave him grapes so that's where I picked it up from. Well, he ran under the table and got sick. I then, out of fear, began crying, and ran into my room. My foster mommy and daddy called me out to the living room, and asked me what happened.

Out of fear I didn't say anything, just kept crying, but they assured me that I wouldn't be in trouble. I told them I fed him grapes, and they calmly told me that next time I should only do it if one of us is around, and that if I give him too much he can become sick. I calmed down after that, and we laughed. I think another memory of them is that they would play the lion king song, and for some reason I thought I was playing it on piano, but then found out they were playing it.

I often wonder what happened to them, and I've been trying to find a way to find them to update them on the past few years, and where I am in life now.
